What is Cortaflex?

The Cortaflex range was amongst the first joint supplements to be widely and successfully worldwide and introduced to the UK some 25 years ago. They are now used all over the world, with well over 2 million units sold! They included then, and still include now, vital trace elements and precursors (or building blocks) of key compounds such as glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans which are necessary for the production and maintenance of healthy cartilage (the spongy, elastic, shock absorbing material found on the ends of bones within a joint) and joint fluid, which also plays an important role in shock absorbing and lubrication within the joint.

Is Cortaflex a drug?

No, Cortaflex is not a drug. It is a dietary supplement and contains only natural amino acids and saccharides which are already present in your body. Saccharides are a natural form of carbohydrate (sugar) and are responsible for providing cells with energy and structural integrity. The amino acids are natural compounds that combine together to help rebuild good cartilage, connective tissue and synovial fluid (joint oil), which all help to maintain healthy, pain-free joints!

Can a diabetic take Cortaflex?

Cortaflex does contain natural saccharides (sugar), however, each capsule has less than 1 calorie of energy, less than 1g of carbohydrates and the sugar content is nil. If you are a diabetic, we would always recommend that you check with your doctor before taking Cortaflex.

Do I have to take Cortaflex at a specific time each day?

There is no specific time that you need to take Cortaflex. Most people find it better to take it as part of a regular routine, though.

What happens if I forget to take Cortaflex for a day?

No worries, just take your daily capsule as soon as you remember and carry on your routine as normal!

How quickly will I feel the benefit from Cortaflex?

It all depends on the person! Most people can notice a difference within a week, some may take a little longer.

Are there any side effects?

As Cortaflex is a natural supplement, there have been no reported side effects!

How many calories are in Cortaflex?

Less than 1 calorie per supplement!
